Sam Hart is the Land Analyst for Shephard Media's Defence Insight. Before joining Shephard, Sam graduated from the University of East Anglia and is an Infantry Officer in the British Army Reserves.

Scott Gourley is a US-based writer on defence and security issues. A former US Army officer, he has previously served as a correspondent for a wide range of industry publications and was the editor of Shephard’s Military Logistics Forum and Special Operations Forum magazines. 

Scott has longstanding links with the military simulation and training community, and has been an editor of the I/ITSEC Show Daily for more than 15 years.

Tim Fish is a special correspondent for Shephard Media. Formerly the editor of Land Warfare International and Military Logistics International magazines, Tim joined Shephard in January 2013 after more than seven years experience reporting on the defence industry.

Tim has previously worked as a reporter for Civil Service World, freelanced as a naval analyst in South America and Asia (lounged beach hostels for an extended period -ed), and was the maritime reporter for Jane's Navy International. 

Tony Fyler is Naval Reporter at Shephard. He has experience in business and technology journalism, and spent a decade as the editor at the UK's Royal Institute of Navigation.

Tony Skinner is Shephard Media's Creative Director, overseeing the strategic direction, content development and project delivery of the company's Studio division. 

Tony took over the Shephard rotorcraft portfolio in 2009, after five years with Jane’s Defence Weekly, where he was latterly the magazine’s features editor. Before moving to the UK, Tony was a reporter for a regional New Zealand newspaper, where he had the cat-up-tree beat.

Wilder Alejandro Sánchez is an analyst who covers defense & security, geopolitical, and trade issues across the Western Hemisphere and the post-Soviet world. 

His research interests include unmanned aerial vehicles, the rise of Latin American defence industries, UN peacekeeping operations, and the role of militaries in humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations.
