  Fischer Panda UK demonstrated its AGT 8000 PVM-NE auxiliary power unit (APU) for the first time at DSEI 2023. It was developed and contracted for the Ajax armoured fighting vehicle family, as an alternative to the originally sourced APU from Rolls-Royce.

  MARSS has completed the rapid installation of its NiDAR C2 counter-UAS (CUAS) system on board the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) replenishment and supply ship MV Asterix, an announcement which follows the recent unveiling of its X-JOC deployable NiDAR containerised system which is on display at DSEI.

  SpearUAV is displaying a new Multi-Canister Launcher (MCL) for its Viper UAV at DSEI, a system which will allow for swarming through deployment of up to four drones at a time from crewed or uncrewed platforms.

  BAE Systems Bofors is proposing a land-based version of its 40mm Mk 4 naval gun, for installation on 8x8 or ATV platforms, for use against ground and aerial targets.

  DSEI 2023: Teledyne FLIR draws on use of Black Hornet UAS in Ukraine to develop autonomous launch system

  12th September 2023

  Teledyne Flir Defense is developing the Black Recon Vehicle Reconnaissance System (VRS), which will hold multiple UAVs, with autonomous launch and recovery. The system is expected to be available in the second half of 2024 with deliveries possible in 2025.

  The Venom LR, revolver cannon developed by UK-based AEI Systems, offers features such as reduced recoil, multiple firing modes and compatibility with standard 30mm ammunition. It is now being integrated onto Unirobotics' Trakon remote weapon station (RWS).
