USAF finalises 2013 Reaper order
The USAF is to purchase 24 MQ-9 Block 5 Reaper aircraft under a fiscal year 2013 agreement with GA-ASI announced on 18 October.
The production contract has a ceiling of $377.4 million, which will include the aircraft, shipping containers, initial spares and support equipment, according to a USAF statement.
This is made up of $305 million in procurement funds for 2013, plus standard equipment procurement funds of $3.8 million and spares procurement funds of $68.6 million for fiscal year 2012.
