USAF chooses contractor for Reaper support
Two-year sole-source contract awarded to General Atomics
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems is providing contractor logistics support for MQ-9 Reaper UASs operated by the USAF, under a new $305.19 million sole-source contract announced by the DoD on 11 December.
The contract from the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center includes: programme management; depot repair; depot maintenance; sustaining engineering support; supply and logistics support; configuration management; technical data maintenance; software maintenance; and inventory control point/warehouse support for the MQ-9.
Work will be performed in Poway, California, and is expected to be completed by 31 December 2022.
