US Navy seeks Vindicator II targets

The US Navy is looking to acquire the Vindicator II target solution from Qinetiq Target Systems Canada as part of a sole source procurement.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursable Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the company for its Vindicator II System.

The contract seeks to provide services and supplies for land- and sea-based modelling, testing and risk reduction flights

The system will comprise of contractor-owned UAVs, high speed USVs as well as contractor-owned Helicopter Radar Signature Simulator (HRSS) for NAWCWD, Pacific Target
