UltiSat receives Global Hawk support order
UltiSat has received a COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity (CTC) task order from the US Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) to provide Ku bandwidth capacity to support Global Hawk UAV flight testing, the company announced on 15 April.
Under the contract, UltiSat will provide Ku bandwidth capacity to the Global Vigilance Combined Test Force at Edwards Air Force Base in California. This will include supporting Global Hawk Ku-band earth terminals associated with the Global Hawk Mission Control Element located in several locations across California.
This task order comes under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition Schedule 70 contract vehicle, with total contract value, including options, of $9.37 million.
