There Israeli no driver

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has detailed the development of an unmanned HMMWV likely to be destined for use with the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). 

Last month the IDF released a video of its new unmanned HMMWV concept on social media but with little detail of the technology behind the design or the service’s intent to acquire the vehicle. The post simply read ‘Look! No hands!’.

Speaking to Shephard, officials from IAI were hopeful the IDF will begin procuring the system soon.

‘We think and hope that the IDF is going to get into more aggressive purchase order of this product.
