Themis completes successful pilot operation for civilian customer
Themis has recently completed s successful pilot operation for a large defense organization in an Asian country. The pilot, which was based on Themis's PBH (Pay by the hour) service, included a number of flights in which full motion video was streamed to the customer's headquarters during both day and night.
Over the last 4 years Themis has been developing a revolutionary approach to UAS services that focuses on the mission rather than the platform. This comprehensive service includes the UAS platform, the operation crew and the maintenance crews, thus relieving the customer from the need of purchasing the platform.
"This recent operation demonstrates, once again, the enormous potential in using UAS platforms for civilian applications". Says Ziv Avni, Themis VP for Marketing and business development. "We believe that our PBH service model significantly broadens the number of customers that are able to use UAS platforms for their everyday operations."
This recent pilot operation is the 3rd successful pilot that Themis has performed in the last 6 month.
