Centrik's mission management software has been selected by Texo Drone Survey and Inspection (Texo DSI) to manage its UAS operations, the company announced on 15 November.
Texo DSI uses UAS to carry out inspection and survey services and precision data collection in hazardous environments such as the maritime and oil and gas sectors.
Under the agreement, Centrik will help Texo DSI increase its efficiency and improve in areas such as safety, risk and compliance.Centrik provides the ability to connect all information relating to operational management, allowing operators to focus on the task at hand, instead of having to carry out time-consuming procedures and processes documentation.
Centrik's capability for offline reporting and automatic synchronisation will allow reports and information to be recorded, shared, updated and actioned out in the field. The system will also make it easy for the Texo DSI team to spot patterns in management and track progress through key performance indicators.
James Arnott, principal systems officer, Texo DSI, said: ‘Centrik is a far smarter, more efficient way to manage our fleet which is now the largest in the sector.
‘Instead of relying on disparate spreadsheets, documents and emails to manage our processes, we have a fully integrated management system that automatically ensures all evidence of our operational excellence is up-to-date.’
