AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
Terra Drone Japan and Brazil’s Plimsoll UAV are to establish a joint venture (JV) called Terra Drone Brazil.
Terra Drone offers UAS survey and inspection services. Plimsoll UAV, in which Terra Drone has acquired a major stake, provides drone services in Brazil, specialising in the inspection of floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) systems for oil and gas operations.
The JV will continue to expand on these services in Brazil, which has the world’s largest number of FPSOs. Work will also be extended to support utility networks, cell towers and mining operations through the use of geographic information systems.
