TeAx introduces ThermalCapture IRnet
TeAx Technology has introduced ThermalCapture IRnet - an Ethernet interface solution for live data streaming to new and existing FLIR Tau 2 cores and FLIR Vue Pro/R cores, the company announced on 3 January.
ThermalCapture IRnet brings real-time access for UAS flight operations to thermal imaging data. It also stores the full 14bit radiometric thermal data on a microSD card. An Ethernet interface not only makes communication faster and more reliable, but also provides data privacy.
The ThermalCapture IRnet offers H.264 live streaming via Ethernet, radiometric thermal data recorder, controllable camera settings via network in real time, provides access to recordings via the network even during the recording process and thermal digital zoom during live streaming.
Michael Thoss, VP, sales and marketing, TeAx Technology, said: ‘We designed ThermalCapture IRnet in a way that drone operators can easily bring Ethernet capabilities to their thermal cameras and get the most out of their thermal system – during field operations and after.
'I am glad to see another TeAx solution being established – on proven ThermalCapture technology – which will take our clients to their next level and enables them for communication via Ethernet on their drone thermal operations.'
