Taiwan developing military UGV

Taiwan’s defence industry has revealed a new multi-role unmanned ground vehicle that features interchangeable modules covering a range of military and security applications.

The tracked Light Remote-Controlled Combat Vehicle (LRCCV) is designed to execute tasks too dangerous for personnel, such as such explosive ordnance disposal, and is being developed by the military’s Materiel Production Centre (MPC) in conjunction with the department of electronic engineering at Cheng Shiu University in Kaohsiung.
