Taiwan awaits future production of Teng Yun UAV

Taiwan’s series production of the Teng Yun (Cloud Rider) MALE UAV, a type that will eventually be inducted into the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF), is still several years away.

A source at the Ministry of National Defense indicated that production could be delayed at least three years due to technical development issues.

Ultimately, at least ten platforms will be produced at a cost of about NTD3.4 billion ($114.6 million).
