South Korean firms display new and future UAVs

While the most impressive UAV on display at Seoul ADEX 2019 was a prototype of the KUS-FS MALE platform from Korean Air, there were also products from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Uconsystems on display, including the former’s Night Intruder 600VT technology demonstrator.

The first flight of the NI-600VT occurred at the Goheung Aerospace Centre in September, with KAI stating at the time that the aircraft 'showed hovering and horizontal direction conversion functions and, by doing so, the copter confirmed its flight control performance and safety.’
