SOFEX 2018: Jordanian CH-4 makes public debut
The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) CH-4 MALE UAV in service with the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) has made its first public appearance at SOFEX 2018 in Amman.
Interestingly, the appearance of the CH-4 comes at a time when the US is looking to expand its export potential of unmanned technologies in the Middle East.
Speaking to Shephard, First Lt Moath Al Moumni, with the RJAF, said ‘I have used the MQ-1 and it is good with a big capability but the [US] is still closed off [to exports].’
