Skeldar's R-350 demonstrates MUM-T success

UMS Skeldar and partner ESG have recently carried out a number of joint manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) demonstrations involving the 150kg R-350 for the German armed forces and a Huey.

The tests, performed in October, on behalf of the armed forces at Manching Air Base, near Munich, were designed mainly for reconnaissance purposes, with a Bell UH-1D Huey test pilot in full control of a replica version of the R-350’s mission computers according to David Willems, business development director for UMS Skeldar.
