Singapore’s Hermes 450 gains full operational capability

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) declared full operational capability (FOC) for its Hermes 450 UAV in a ceremony at Murai Camp on 30 March 2015. The Elbit Systems H-450 has been operated by the air force’s 116 Squadron since 2007.

Defence Minister Dr Ng Eng Hen commented, ‘UAVs have now become a critical asset to many military operations and have proven themselves to make a decisive difference to outcomes, whether it is in peacetime operations or battles.’
