Maris-Tech confirms customers signing up for Jupiter Drones codec and AI-powered system
Launched at AUSA in October, the company’s multi-stream video codec is attempting to bring a new lease of life to drone technology through its AI accelerator.
Precision Vectors Aerial has selected the Silent Falcon UAS for its UAS services business in the US and Canada, Silent Falcon UAS Technologies announced on 8 March.
The UAS will be deployed in support of beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) customer operations in the forestry, oil and gas wildfire, mining and large scale precision agriculture sectors.
Precision Vectors will also distribute Silent Falcon UAS Technologies' products throughout Canada.
The Silent Falcon is a fixed wing, solar electric powered UAS designed for long endurance, long range, silent operations. It can carry multiple payloads in its open architecture payload bay.
Lorne Borgal, president, Precision Vectors Aerial, said: 'Our decision to work exclusively with Silent Falcon is founded on our assessment that it is by far the most advanced and commercially viable UAV for operations BVLOS.
'No other UAV has the solar voltaic wing, sophisticated payload bay and inaudible flight performance of Silent Falcon. Five hours airborne, 100km range and the ability to map 6,000 acres in one flight, symbolise what makes this a unique platform.'
