Encountering an ageing population and correspondingly fewer numbers of recruits, the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) is pinning its hopes on technology to improve the force’s capability. Its plan to achieve this is called TIGER 4.0 (Transformative Innovation of Ground forces Enhanced by 4th industrial Revolution technology).
