Sea-Air-Space 2019: High Eye scales up unmanned operations

High Eye, manufacturer of the small UAS two blade helicopter system HEF32, is preparing to significantly expand its operations by way of relocating to premises five times the size of its current facility in Lexmond, Holland.

‘I’ve just bought the [new] premises,’ Joost De Ruiter, CEO at High Eye told Shephard, in a move that indicates the company has ambitions of building on its current customer base – having sold nine units of the unmanned VTOL aircraft to date.

Targeted at the military and commercial SAR market, current operators from both sectors have also been using HEF32 for offshore
