ROVision and Rotomotion LLC announce partnership deal
ROVision and Rotomotion are pleased to announce they have entered into a partnership resulting in ROVision being awarded the exclusive distribution rights to all of Rotomotion LLC's UAV product line covering all of Europe and the Middle East.
Rotomotion's extensive and innovative product line is continually being developed and expanded and this will allow ROVision to secure a firm and important position in both the European and World UAV marketplace.
Rotomotion LLC has been at the forefront of UAV technology since 2003. Their product line includes:
• SR-20 Electrically powered UAV.
• SR-30 Flagship petrol powered UAV with lifting capability of up to 5kgs and sortie length of up to 2 hours.
• SR-100 Heavy duty UAV with petrol or electric options. Each unit manufactured exclusively to client needs.
• SR-200 Heavy lift and long sortie duration. Each unit manufactured exclusively to client needs.
• Fully autonomous waypoint autopilot software system.
ROVision Ltd is a UAV operations company based in Aberdeenshire. The use of a Rotomotion SR-30 UAV enables them to provide a number of different services including:
• Thermographic and visual inspections
• Search and rescue assistance
• Emergency services incident control and co-ordination
• Utilities infrastructure inspections
• Research and development of military applications
ROVision's Technical Director Robert Furness states "After researching and attending trials of several UAV systems we chose Rotomotion's SR-30 to become our primary operational platform. The SR-30 provides us with proven reliability, endurance and multiple payload capacity."
The SR-30's simplicity and ease of use in operation make it the ideal vehicle for pilots and non-pilots alike.
ROVision's Operations Manager Mark Donnelly says "Our new training course is designed to take an untrained individual and transform them into a competent internal pilot and payload operator within a week."
Mark continues "Drawing from my previous 22 years of Royal Air Force engineering experience I recognise the quality of engineering in these Rotomotion vehicles."
