Thai navy deploys Orbiter 3Bs over water

The Orbiter 3B is the first UAV the Royal Thai Navy has deployed operationally to monitor the nation's EEZ.

The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) has begun using the Aeronautics Orbiter 3B UAV to search for illegal fishing in maritime areas adjacent to neighbouring countries.

The Orbiter 3B entered service with 104 Squadron, Wing 1, RTN Air Division in April 2020. The RTN obtained six units with ground control systems for approximately THB330 million ($10.8 million) for surveillance missions against maritime offenders, for combat missions to support antiaircraft, shore defence and artillery units, and for border surveillance.
