Persistent Systems shows early developmental model version of new display

Persistent Systems showed a developmental version of a new rugged display at AUVSI’s Xponential unmanned show in Chicago.

Company officials described the unit as ‘the first version with major changes taking place between this version and versions two and three and possibly more versions’ before a final version is released.

The final unit may be released in October 2019, maybe even in time for the AUSA conference in Washington, DC, but will definitely ‘be released before February 2020’, according to company officials.

The display at the show has two thumbstick controls, four button controls on each side and two top
