OpenWorks, Liteye partner for C-UAS
OpenWorks Engineering has partnered with Liteye Systems to integrate a physical UAS defeat capability into Liteye’s C-UAS systems.
Liteye’s C-UAS products and systems are designed to detect, track and defeat systems via electronic counter-measure means. Under this agreement, Openwall’s SkyWall net capture products, which allow the operator to physically capture UAS targets in a net, will be available as an integration option for Liteye’s systems
OpenWorks’ SkyWall 100 and 300 offerings, together with Liteye’s solutions will provide a larger defensive umbrella of radars, cameras, RF sensing, electronic warfare and physical capabilities to counter the threat of UAS attacks on highly-sensitive sites and critical national infrastructure.
The team will support all existing SkyWall customers and offer new users access to SkyWall products directly from Liteye’s base in Colorado.
James Cross, director of Openworks said: ‘Like SkyWall, Liteye’s solutions have been defending lives and critical infrastructure on the battlefield since 2016 and we are happy to join their team in North America. We know our SkyWall products we assist them in that mission for years to come.’
