AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
After 15 years of development of the Remus 100 Kongsberg Maritime subsidiary, Hydroid, is demonstrating its next generation Remus 100 autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) at Oceanology International.
The company has taken the AUVs software capability and renewed the technology onto a smaller field-programmable gate array (FPGA) which has enabled the Remus 100 to consume 25% less energy than previous generations.
The platform now has an open architecture robotic operation system (ROS) which allows third parties to apply unique mission capabilities to the vehicle.
