Norway seeks VTOL UAV for coast guard vessel testing

A tender has been issued seeking a VTOL UAV which will be used for the testing of its potential to carry out surveillance from a Norwegian coast guard vessel

Under Project VTOL UAS, the selected aircraft will be delivered as a package and used to test the potential of using unmanned systems to increase the ‘safety and emergency preparedness’ of the coast guard in the Arctic region, and will be operated from the Andøya Test Center (ATC) in Andenes, which is part of the Andøya Space Center (ASC).
