Nigeria suspected of using Chinese UCAS

Photographs of a crashed UCAS in Nigeria – apparently a Chinese-built CH-3A – began circulating online on 25 January 2015 and show that two intact precision-guided weapons were still attached after a likely crashed landing. 

One weapon appears to be an AR-1 air-to-ground missile and the other an FT-5 guided bomb.

The photos of the CH-3A were allegedly taken in Borno Province, an area of northeast Nigeria where Boko Haram is active. 

The Nigerian military is currently fighting to hold the city of Maiduguri, so the CH-3A was presumably providing surveillance and fire support.

This revelation suggests two points. One
