Roboteam, a Tel Aviv-based ground robotics developer, has won a contract from the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) for a suite of robots suitable for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) tasks.
Roboteam announced the news on 22 May. No value for the deal was disclosed, but it is believed to encompass ‘dozens’ of robots. Roboteam partnered with Australian-based Trakka Tech for the bid.
