Jammer resistant drone designs spark search for countermeasures
The Russia-Ukraine conflict has driven another stage of evolution for drones and the counter measures to defend against them.
The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) plans to start the purchase of a new combat UGV, known as the Nerekhta, according to recent statements released by the ministry.
To date the Russian MoD has already started talks with the OAO Degtyarev Plant, the designer of the Nerekhta UGV and one of Russia’s oldest weapon-producing enterprises, regarding the planned supply of the new system.
It has been reported that the UGV was designed with the participation of experts of the National Center for the Development of Technologies and Basic Elements of Robotics, part of the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research
