The JGSDF displayed an EOD UGV for the first time at the Fuji Firepower demonstration on 25 August. The type manufactured by IHI Aerospace is deployed with the Explosive Ordnance Division of the Central Readiness Regiment (CRR), an elite unit of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF).

The durability and operability of the new UGV has been improved compared to a previous model. Its configuration is set via a Panasonic Toughbook, and it is controlled and manipulated by a Microsoft Xbox. The tracked UGV measures 800mm long, 600mm wide and 500mm high. Its weight is listed as 47kg.
