AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
An uplift in demand to protect critical national infrastructure (CNI) following the shutdown of major UK airports in December and January due to rogue ‘drone’ activities has triggered MyDefence to unveil its new fixed installation Counter UAS (C-UAS) solution, Knox.
MyDefence’s modular Knox solution, named after the US Bullion Depository in Kentucky, features both passive and active systems designed to ‘detect; locate; track; and defeat’ small UAS across undisclosed ranges.
The system, which can also be re-roled to protect other CNI as well as military bases, has been in development for three years and is designed to protect large scale
