AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
Unmanned fire-fighting and mine clearance platform manufacturer DOK-ING plan to add CBRN and HAZMAT detectors to its MVF-5 system.
The company aims to do this next year and is eyeing further expansion into the global market beyond 2017.
The MVF-5 UGV is designed specifically for fire-fighting in industrial areas such as oil refineries and terminals, military depots, chemical storage and nuclear power plants. The design has been developed from earlier DOK-ING platforms used for mine clearance tasks.
It is generally fitted with fire-fighting capabilities and allows the operator the capability to use water, foam, or a combination
