ManTech awarded UMSS contract
ManTech International has been awarded a contract from the US Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSCPAC) for unmanned maritime systems support (UMSS), the company announced on 7 August.
The three year contract will see the company provide technical and professional support services for US Navy subsurface and surface unmanned maritime systems involved in underwater and waterborne mine countermeasures.
The company will provide full lifecycle services, including, test and evaluation, configuration, training, maintenance, installation, fabrication, specification and design, and programme management of both hardware and software systems.
Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer, mission solutions & services group, ManTech International, said: ‘Providing full-spectrum lifecycle mission-critical support to military personnel in remote locations is essential for UMSS capability. We are pleased to provide innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of SSCPAC's UMSS efforts.’
