Lockheed Martin is targeting further growth in Asia for its Indago 3 UAS, having recently sold two of the systems to the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs.
Indago 3 is a small quadcopter that weighs about 2.2kg. It is designed to be highly portable, said Mike Carlson, business development manager of the system, with a low acoustic signature that should appeal to customers in the military and government sectors. Indago 3 provides an ISR solution with multiple hot-swappable payload options.
Asia is seen as a vital growth market for Indago 3, said Carlson, with the company planning to promote the platform
