German firm EMT is participating in highlighting not only its own UAV products such as the Aladin and Luna, but also its close collaboration with Malaysian academia at LIMA 2015.

To assist in that process EMT formed DST as a local subsidiary, and the latter currently has 12 staff, including five UAV pilots.

As part of a Flood Early Warning System (FEWS), a state government in Malaysia wanted digital mapping by UAVs to provide water flow data analysis, and EMT is running this pilot project in collaboration with the University of Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in the north of the country.
