Kratos receives ATS-2 support contract
Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services Division (DRSS) has received the Aerial Target Systems 2 (ATS-2), multiple-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, the company announced on 24 May.
The combined firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order contract has a ceiling of $93.3 million and a five year period of performance.
The ATS-2 tasks will include requirements for research, development, test and evaluation, commercial-off-the-shelf and non-commercial materials, technical flight, engineering field support, logistical and technical support associated with unmanned aerial target UAS system programmes managed by the US Army’s Target Management Office (TMO).
The TMO is a division of the Department of the Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Project Office for Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators.
The new contract is follow-on of Kratos’ previously awarded Aerial Target Systems IDIQ contract that aims to provide high performance unmanned aerial target UAS systems to the US Army. Work under the contract will be performed at various secure Kratos facilities and at government locations.
