Insitu gives it some gas

Continuing its involvement in the unmanned sector in Australia Insitu Pacific has extended its contract with the Queensland Gas Company (QGC) through to the end of 2016. 

The original contract was awarded in May 2016 after 18 months of trials. The ScanEagle UAV is being used by QGC to inspect gas wells, pipelines and processing facilities. In this contract extension the same services will be continued.

QGC has been conducting beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations in the Surat Basin of south-west Queensland on inspection and monitoring tasks.
