Innocon unveils Spider SUAS
Innocon has announced that it has expanded its lightest family of UAVs, the MicroFalcon family, with the introduction of the Spider small UAS (SUAS). The Spider SUAS has recently completed qualification test flights, and is designed to provide high quality intelligence and surveillance information for both the civil and military users.
According to the company, the Spider SUAS was developed in order to meet requirements for an SUAS that can be carried and operated by a single operator, with day and night operational capability, and a weight of 2.5Kg.
The MicroFalcon family incorporates the Spider, the MicroFalcon UAS and the MicroFalcon LE. All the systems in this family carry the camera on its belly, enabling a full and intuitive view of the bottom hemisphere. All the systems are also equipped with the company’s command and control system, Naviator; and are built on a modular software design, enabling advanced levels of flight, automatic take-off and landing control capabilities
The MicroFalcon UAS types are also designed in a tandem structure configuration, contributing to the systems’ high survivability and fast redeployment time cycle.
