Indonesia angles towards Turkey for UCAV requirement

Alongside its participation in an effort to field a domestically designed MALE UAV for surveillance purposes, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) is also planning to jointly develop a UCAV with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) that will be based on the latter’s Anka platform.

The Jakarta Post quoted PTDI director Elfien Goentoro as saying on 15 January that TAI 'has lengthy experience in building high-altitude UAVs' and detailing that the company 'will collaborate with them in the project'.
