IE-Pacific wins Triton contract
IE-Pacific has won a contract for renovation and construction of several facilities for the Triton unmanned aircraft systems, the US Department of Defense announced on 16 January.
The $16.37 million fixed-price task order will cover the Triton systems at Naval Base Ventura County.
The work to be performed includes the renovation of the north wing of Hangar 34, construction of a new warehouse, composite shop, battery shop and a launch and recovery building. It also includes the expansion of the wash rack and power check pad. The task order also contains one planned modification that, if issued, would increase cumulative task order value to $16.42 million.
Work will be performed in Point Mugu, California, and is expected to be completed by September 2016.
