IDEX 2015: Nexter Robotics matures
French armaments manufacturer Nexter Robotics displayed its Nerva robot technology at the IDEX exhibition following a successful year in 2014.
The subsidiary, which was only created in 2013, has sold 50 systems in 2014 and has more prospects lined up for this year.
Laurent Bouraoui, technical director of Nexter Robotics, told reporters at IDEX that following the sale of systems to the French Special Forces, GIGN, Swiss Police, Myanmar and the Dutch Army it wants to further develop its Nerva robot, which is used for ISR missions in civilian and military environments.
