ideaForge unveils new UAVs at Aero India 2025

India UAV supplier ideaForge has launched the Netra 5 and Switch V2 drones at Aero India 2025, boasting of enhanced endurance, AI-driven autonomy and improved operational capabilities.

Indian company ideaForge Technology Limited has used Aero India 2025, taking place in Bengaluru this week, to commercially launch two new UAVs – the Netra 5 and Switch V2 – as well as two larger UAV concepts.

As India’s largest supplier of operational UAVs, ideaForge has already supplied thousands of Switch UAVs to the Indian military. Now, its maker has claimed the Switch V2 aircraft offers a 25% improvement in performance. Its wind resistance has been improved and has more fail-safe features. This hybrid aircraft is multirole, but ideaForge claim it has particular strengths in wide-area surveillance, mapping and high-resolution
