Heron crashes in Israel

A Heron 1 has crashed over northern Israel during a test flight on 9 August, while Israeli media reported that a number of people on the ground were injured.

National media detailed that the Heron 1 crashed into an abandoned house in the northern village of Zalafa on Tuesday afternoon, citing the Transportation Ministry. It has been reported through a number of outlets that 25 people were given medical attention, including 13 children, for smoke inhalation.

Confirming the incident to Shephard, an IAI spokesperson said that the company was 'investigating and examining the circumstances of the incident’.
