ADEX 2015: Hankuk Carbon adds Panther power

Foraying into the UAV market for the first time, Hankuk Carbon has been cooperating with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) since last year to produce a new version of the Panther VTOL UAV, which in original form features twin tiltrotors.

Development of the hybrid FE-Panther design (‘FE’ denotes Front Engine), which adds a petrol engine, is expected to finish by the end of 2015. It will be demonstrated in Israel in January 2016, and in South Korea two months later.
