AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
Malaysian company Unmanned Systems Technology (UST) displayed its new prototype UAV designed for the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) force at GPEC Asia in Kuala Lumpur.
The six rotor VTOL UAV, known as the Aludra Hexacopter, was designed after the company received a requirement for a system that can be transported in a police multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).
At the exhibit the company displayed the Hexacopter for the first time in a police MPV.
‘This is just the prototype, we can further customise the UAV if the customer wants,’ explained Muhammad Riza Abd Rahiman, engineer at UST, suggesting that the final design
