Farnborough 2016: Tip of the Spear

With electronic warfare threats and counter-UAS systems increasing in proliferation, companies are looking at ways to protect and harden existing UAS systems for today's battlespace.

At the Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (FIA 16), Elbit Systems revealed the Light Spear self-protection jamming systems that can be fitted to UAS, which will enable platforms to meet the growing demand for intelligence gathering in hostile environments, according to the company.
