Farnborough 2010: Northrop Grumman eyes Scavenger

Northrop Grumman has offered up a brace of UAV solutions for the UK Ministry of Defence’s (MoD’s) Scavenger ISTAR (intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance) programme, according to company officials.

Speaking at a pre-Farnborough International Air Show briefing on 7 July, Northrop Grumman said it had completed ‘conversations with the [UK] military’ regarding RQ-4 Global Hawk at the Waddington Air Show just a few days earlier. The company said it hoped to continue discussions at Farnborough this week.
