Eurosatory: Miniaturisation opens new markets
VTQ Videotronik and Aerolution have collaborated in an exclusive partnership to develop an optical payload for the Songbird 500 VTOL UAS family.
It is nearing the end of the demonstration and integration phase.
The payload, which as yet carries no designation as it has not yet been officially released, will transmit HD video with a delay of less than one second back to the operator to complement the platforms efforts in the commercial UAS industry.
Typical roles for the Songbird family include agricultural survey and farming, infrastructure inspection and search and rescue operations.
