ECA Group wins $15 million in contracts
ECA Group has received three export orders worth $15 million, the company announced on 19 April.
Two orders include the supply of systems for underwater mine countermeasure operations and kits for the robotisation of ships.
ECA's mine warfare systems can detect, classify, locate, identify and neutralise underwater threats. Deployed as either stand alone or from manned and unmanned platforms they can carry a broad range of payloads and sensors.
The company's robotisation kits enable vessels to be transformed into USVs, giving them the ability to navigate remotely or autonomously for various missions including maritime surveillance, hydrography or mine counter measures.
The third order covers the supply of power conversion systems to be replaced on existing sub-marine equipment.
Work on the contracts will span 24 months.
