IMDEX Asia: ECA Group aims to expand further into Asia
France-based robotics specialist ECA Group is exhibiting a number of its unmanned systems designed for the maritime domain at this year’s IMDEX Asia as the company looks to increase sales across the region.
Systems on display include the K-STER expendable mine disposal system and a man-portable AUV designated the A9, while an example of the Republic of Singapore Navy’s K-STER can also be found in the static display.
In addition, the company is exhibiting its IT180-EL-I mini-UAV for ISTAR, which has been in use with the French Army since 2012. The mini-UAV is the result of ECA Group’s acquisition of
